We ask interested parents to make an appointment to meet and/or
speak with the Admissions Department. This meeting is an informal
opportunity to learn more about the school and to ask questions
you have concerning the program. Additionally, we hold scheduled
information sessions for parents to meet with the teachers, and
existing parents. These sessions generally focus on the Montessori
philosophy and details of each program. All parents are highly
encouraged to attend.
When the decision to apply has been made, complete an application
form (see office) and send it to the school.
Admission decisions are made by administration and teaching
staff. These decisions are based on an evaluation of the child,
school transcripts, and the needs of existing classes. Parents
will be contacted regarding our admission decision within 7
days of the interview. If a position is offered to your child,
a nonrefundable registration fee of $100.00 and a tuition deposit
will be due.
Kendalwood Montessori School has a 30-day trial period,
during which time the child will be assessed to see if he/she
responds favourably to the school's environment. During this
30-day period, either Kendalwood Montessori School or you may
rescind your child's admission if the school cannot meet all
the needs of your child.
